The Sudanese Men & Families Project comprises a Project Coordinator and bilingual community workers. Workers provide casework and outreach services from a number of strategic locations in the Blacktown local government area. For current details contact the Project Coordinator. Project workers can also work with service providers to assist them in accessing communities and provide cultural consultancy.

Services provided are as follows:

  • Case-management and referral and services
  • Assisting community groups with community support structures and networks
  • Providing access to local mainstream service providers
  • Improving referral pathways for refugees, humanitarian entrants and newly arrived migrants
  • Promoting integration through sporting and other activities and programs
  • Information dissemination and information sessions
  • Employment pathways workshops
  • Skills development and training programs
  • Mentoring program
