The Settlement Services Project:

Provides support to communities across Sydney, specifically in relation to their settlement needs. In particular, the settlement services Project assists the Sudanese, Sierra Leone, Tamil, Liberian and West African communities in their process of settling in Australia. This assistance is provided through the following services:

       1) Providing case work for the sudanese, Sierra Leone, Tamil, Liberian

           and other West African communitie

       2) Disseminating information and holding information sessions

       3) Establishing community support groups and activities

       4) Working closely with community groups and associations to

           enhance community structures and networks

Comprises a Project Coordinator and bilingual community workers. Workers Provide CaseWork and outreach services from a number of strategic locations around sydney.
